Counseling and Student Services

The mission of the Counseling and Student Service office is to provide services aimed at enhancing the student’s quality of life and education and maximizing their personal and academic growth.

Counseling and Student Services offers a range of free services for students enrolled in Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital School of Nursing:

• Personal concerns: identity issues, sexuality, self-esteem, assertion, family problems, stress management, managing depression and anxiety.
• Interpersonal issues: communication skills, dating and relationship issues, conflict management and promoting self-care.
• Crisis intervention services: sexual assault, loss/grief counseling, trauma issues and stress.
• Academic issues: ADHD, ADD, procrastination, time management, adjustment to college life, text anxiety and accommodations.

Counseling and Student Services is available to discuss concerns or issues impacting the student personally, academically and professionally. Counseling is confidential except if there is concern of imminent danger to self or others, child/elder abuse, court ordered or otherwise required by law.
